23.01.2012 – SOLARWATT modules withstand highest snow loads
Stable in all weathers. Solar modules from the German premium manufacturer SOLARWATT are ideal for use in areas and mountainous regions with heavy snowfall and can withstand even extreme snow loads. This has been proven by mechanical snow load tests. The solar modules in the P210, M220, M250, M180, and M200 ranges have all been tested. All the tested solar modules met the technically relevant standards and requirements of the mechanical snow load tests. The SOLARWATT modules of the P210, M220, and M250 ranges are therefore now tested for a maximum snow load of 6,000 pascals. Modules from the M180 and M200 ranges are even tested to a load of 7,600 pascals thanks to their high mechanical stability. This corresponds to snow load zones II to III, which apply for the highest locations up to 920 meters and thus for the highest locations in the Alpine region.
